Job Overview:We are delighted to represent our client in offering an opportunity to join their team as a Conveyancing Fee Earner. In this role, you will provide crucial support to the auction sales team, ensuring the smooth operation of the department. Your Mission:As a Conveyancing Fee Earner, your primary responsibilities will include managing correspondence efficiently, handling both email and paper communications, and liaising with external stakeholders. You will be instrumental in supporting volume auction sale matters by managing legal files, communicating with clients and third parties, and overseeing proactive file management processes.

Your role will involve ordering and reviewing redemption statements, drafting transfers, contracts, and other ancillary documents such as statutory declarations. Additionally, you will fill in and request land registry forms, obtain and review title documents, and draft completion statements while apportioning rent, ground rent, and service charges.

Effective communication with lenders and third parties, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, will be crucial as you manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Competencies:

  • At least three years of experience in conveyancing or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Recognised accreditation in property law or conveyancing (e.g., CLC, CILEx).
  • Proficiency in using legal management software and Microsoft Office Suite.


Offer Details:

  • Salary: Up to £35,000 per year, depending upon your skills and experience.
  • Location: Office-based in Gateshead for the first six months, with hybrid working options thereafter.
