We are currently looking for a hands-on Production Team Leader to join our team at the Felling Site. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee the selection, training, management and motivation of all staff on the factory floor, ensuring production operations are carried out as efficiently as possible.


Duties & Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the production process in specific area
  • Ensuring that communication between departments is ongoing
  • To assist with the preparation of planning and the control of operations
  • To assist with production reports
  • Accountable for ensuring standards of performance and products
  • Supporting team and motivating staff to achieve production goals.
  • Ensuring that the standard operating procedures are being adhered too.
  • Lead a food safety excellence culture across nightshift
  • Train staff to ensure everyone is performing adequately in their role
  • Acting as a liaison to leading hands and managers to keep them up to date with shop floor matters.
  • Ensuring Production Key Performance Indicators production targets are met.
  • Supporting the implementation of any new policies and procedures relating to the production process.
  • Accountable for ensuring standards


Candidate requirements

  • Food safety level 2
  • A broad and comprehensive knowledge of the industry.
  • An appreciation of the demands of meeting Company Objectives and Targets.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • An understanding of food allergies
  • Knowledge and understanding of the food industry
  • Physically fit
  • Excellent personal hygiene
  • Experience in fast-paced environment advantageous

About the Role
  • 40.25 hours per week
  • Tuesday - Thursday // 18:00 - 05:00
  • Friday // 18:00 - 05:15
