Your role as an account manager

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-focused, fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong, long-term relationships. The business development team (who you will work closely with) focuses on bringing in new business, and your role will be to nurture and manage those clients afterward - handling their day-to-day accounts, checking in with customers, and ensuring they receive excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Managing customer enquiries through to quotation, ensuring efficient follow-up.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Handling all communications promptly and professionally.
  • Identifying and qualifying areas for growth within accounts.
  • Supporting regional marketing initiatives.
  • Managing the centralised inbox to ensure quick response times.
  • Providing outstanding customer service via phone and email.
  • Escalating technical support enquiries via CRM systems.
  • Overseeing after-sales servicing and repairs.
  • Preparing monthly reports.
  • Monitoring pricing and discount strategies to align with business goals.
  • General administration duties.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in account management, customer service, sales administration, or sales order processing.
  • Proactive and results-driven with a self-starter mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and via email.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Good IT proficiency - experience with Office 365 and CRM systems is a plus.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
