With 13 locations across the UK, the business supply a number of industries and are looking for someone to oversee all operations and develop business across the North East territory in a role created due to internal promotion.
Key areas of responsibilities are:
Account and Territory Development:
Strengthening long-term relationships with clients and suppliers to outpace competitors whilst developing new areas of business and establishing yourself in the territory as the preferred supplier of choice.
Range & Relationship Development:
Collaborating with market-leading suppliers to drive innovation and product range expansion in key accounts.
Sales Leadership:
Managing internal and field sales teams and account managers, ensuring they hit targets and exceed expectations.
Operational Oversight:
Overseeing warehouse operations and logistics to ensure efficient stock management and timely distribution.
Financial Management:
Leading the branch finance team, managing budgets, and ensuring financial performance meets business goals.
The suitable candidate will be a proven leader/people manager who possesses commercial acumen having worked in a Branch/Area/General Manager or National/Key Account Manager role previously, ideally within Retail, Wholesale or Distribution.
Youll have demonstrable experience in working in a P&L accountable role, with experience in new and existing business/sales development and account management.
Youll be a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is keen to develop and lead a business with a passion for results and success.
Ideally, you will be degree qualified, although this is not essential.
