Major Recruitment is seeking a full-time and permanent Grinder for a client in Gateshead.
The position involves grinding heavy-duty large cylinder products, working to tight tolerances and deadlines, and metal spraying as required.
Candidates must have experience with cylindrical and surface grinding machines, particularly Robbi, Proth Surface, William Watts, and Churchill.
The salary for this role is £36,194.92 per annum, with additional pay for overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.
Successful candidates should be time-served grinders with an excellent eye for detail.

Major Recruitment are searching for a Grinder for our client based in Gateshead. This vacancy is full-time and permanent for the right candidate.

Duties include:

Grinding heavy duty large cylinder type products
Working to very tight tolerances
Working to deadlines
Undertake metal spraying of cylinders as required

Hours of work and pay rate:

Monday to Thursday
30am till 5.15pm, however start and finish times can be flexible
36,194.92 per annum
Time and a third Friday, time and a half Saturday
Overtime available as and when business needs require

Successful candidates must:

Be time served cylindrical/ surface grinders
Have experience with Robbi, Proth Surface, William Watts and Churchill grinding machines
Have an excellent eye for detail
