Here at Sterling Recruitment Services we are recruiting a Grinder on a permanentbasis for our client based in the Gateshead area.
Working hours are Working a 3 shift system Days, Backs and Nights 37 hours per week on a rota basis.
Duties include;
- To undertake metal grinding operations using shop floor equipment
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Produce parts within quality standard required
- Work to tight tolerances
- Be flexible across machine shop/factory
- Assist team leader as required
Candidate Criteria
- Time served competent grinder
- Extensive grinding experience in engineering organisations
- Be able to do surface and cylindrical grinding
- Work to detail and fine tolerances
- Flexible and able to work overtime as required
