Design Lead (Contract Role) - Data Center Consultancy

Our client, a leading data center consultancy, is seeking a talented and experienced Design Lead to join their team on a contract basis. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data center infrastructure and drive excellence in design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of state-of-the-art data center solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of design projects.
  • Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and capacity planning to support project requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior designers and team members.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to inform design decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Design Lead or similar role in the data center industry.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, and security.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
