Skilled Landscaper

DCT Recruitment is looking for experiences Skilled Landscaper and Labourer for our client based in Macclesfield.

The role will involve:

Site Preparation: Clear the site of any debris, overgrown plants, and obstructions. Cut back identified overgrown shrubs, trees or hedges that impede the work. Remove shrubbery as per client wishes leaving just the conifers. We are not touching furthermost rear section to garden.
Excavation and Groundwork: Excavate and remove the topsoil layer and any unwanted materials from the garden. Remove timber decking, timber sleepers and old paving stones, timber access gates and demolish brick storage at side of house.
Levelling: Use appropriate machinery to level the garden area to the desired gradient.

Brick/Blockwork: Prepare concrete footing and lay double course of brickwork to form 2x step access platforms from house and dwarf retaining wall to garden 390mm from ground level. Include 3x steps with a rise of 130mm each.

Paving: Lay teram matting,cart in type 1MOT and lay and compact every 50mm to a depth no greater than 100mm. Lay indian sandstone project pack on mortar bed to all areas requiring paving.

Site Preparation for Turf: Prepare the soil by raking and removing any stones or debris. Ensure the ground is properly compacted and levelled for turf installation.

Turf Installation: Lay high quality turf across the prepared garden area, ensuring that all pieces fit together without gaps. Water thoroughly and roll the turf to ensure good contact with the soil.

Border Creation: Mark and define the planting borders around the garden edges. Dig out and prepare the soil,removeing weeds and adding.
