CNC Maintenance Engineer

Our client are global-leading ejection seat manufacturers, specialising in protecting the aircrew of state-of-the-art military aircraft.

They are currently looking for a CNC Maintenance Engineer to join their team to carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs on an array of CNC Machinery and Workshop Equipment.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring production targets are met, minimising downtime within the workshop.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8am to 5pm Mon - Thurs & 8am to 12pm Friday

Salary: Up to 34k p/a

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow planned maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery, replacing worn components and wiring in accordance to manuals and specifications
  • Carry out repairs when possible, liaising with external suppliers if required
  • Transport materials and finished components around site using a forklift/lifting equipment

Required skills and traits:

  • High levels of Dexterity and competent in using hand tools/testers
  • Machine shop experience with understanding of CNC and manual machinery
  • Possess 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualifications and Forklift License
  • Maths and English GCSEs
