A leading construction company is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of hospital and healthcare construction projects across the UK and internationally. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for healthcare construction projects.
- Manage procurement, tendering, and contract administration.
- Conduct value engineering and cost control to maximize project efficiency.
- Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure financial success.
- Assess and manage risks, variations, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with UK construction regulations and healthcare sector standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry (healthcare experience preferred).
- Background in main contracting.
- Strong knowledge of different contract types (ie. JCT, NEC, FIDIC).
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- International project experience is advantageous but not essential.
