About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support schools in the Ampleforth area. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with young people, offering classroom support when regular teachers are absent. As a Cover Supervisor, you will work with students across various subjects, ensuring a focused and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lessons, keeping them engaged and on task with pre-prepared lesson plans.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a respectful and productive atmosphere.
- Communicate with school staff regarding student progress and behavior as needed.
- Adapt to the different needs and routines of each school within the Ampleforth area.
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with young people is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Confidence in managing classroom dynamics and supporting students' learning.
- Flexibility to work on a supply basis across various schools in the Ampleforth area.
