The Role:As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Processing sales and purchase invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders in the Evision finance system.
- Performing bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Managing credit control operations, issuing statements, and liaising with colleagues and suppliers.
- Running debtor reports and assisting with supplier payment runs.
- Setting up new customers and vendors in the finance system.
Essential:
- Experience with Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Credit Control.
- Strong data entry, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
- AAT qualification (or currently studying).
This role offers a salary between £25,000 and £30,000, depending on experience, and provides excellent opportunities to progress your finance career and knowledge. It includes 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) and additional enhanced perks, such as healthcare benefits.
The role is hybrid; however, it will be office-based until the probation period is completed, after which it will follow a pattern of three days in the office and two days working from home.
