Finance Assistant
9-5.30pm
To monitor, record and provide accurate financial information and supporting documentation relating
to the following areas covering:
* Sales Invoicing
* Sales Debtors
* Expenses
* Purchase Ledger (Please note that this aspect will be a shared responsibility with another /
existing finance manager whose primary role is focused on purchase ledger).
* Company Credit Cards
* New Supplier onboarding - Assistance with financial aspects of the onboarding process.
The position is based on full time, located in our Maidstone office.
Key attributes:
* Bookkeeping experience
* Great interpersonal and communications skills
* Self-discipline and highly organised.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Good mathematical skills
* Good team worker
* Understanding of CIS and Reverse VAT for construction
* The ability to work to monthly deadlines.
* Able to work to agreed timelines.
* Good knowledge of Sage and Excel as well as a good working knowledge of commercial
management systems
* Has an enthusiastic personality and is prepared to grow the role and their contribution to the
business.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Ideally at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Good IT knowledge.
* Experienced in Microsoft excel, word.
* Experienced in Eque2 cost management system (Training can / will be provided)
* Experienced in Sage accounting systems.
