Have you been responsible for leading production lines or teams?

Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit a Multi-SkilledProduction Operative to assist in the finishing and testing of their products.

As a Wax Room Production Operative you will process castings within the wax department, encompassing molding, injection and extrusion processes Main duties will include:

  • Hot plate preparation of molds
  • Operating wax injection and extrusion machines
  • Carrying out final production processes
  • Carrying out inspections on parts ensuring compliance with production regulations

The ideal Wax Room Production Operative will have a machine-operating, mechanical, manufacturing, or production background. You wil also have

  • Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience of using hand tools/machinery
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to work to strict quality standards
  • The ability to multi-task and cover multiple processes
  • Awareness of health and safety

Choice of two shift patterns:

Monday - Thursday 0730-1630 and Friday 0730-1330 - 40 hours a week

or

Monday -Thursday 0600-1630 and Friday 0600-1430 - 48 hours a week

Benefits include free on-site parking, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays and pension.
