We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our warm and friendly team. We provide a mixed gender service for adults with complex learning needs in their own home, community and supported living. The support is personalised and our aim is to enable people with complex needs to maximise their skills and abilities to live fulfilling lives. We are looking for someone who can assist us with all CQC standards and care plans, making sure our clients are treated with dignity and respect.

This is an office based role

Requirements of Role

  • Assist the MD with Care Plans, policies, compliance and general running of the business
  • Quality assurance: Ensure that the service meets the CQC's quality and safety standards
  • Budgeting
  • Care management
  • Communication: Serve as the key contact for the service, liaising with the CQC, service users, families, and external stakeholders
  • Compliance oversight: Manage systems and processes, and ensure the business runs effectively
  • Recruiting staff: Recruit staff for the care home

Qualifications / Skillset

  • Experience in a Deputy manager role
  • Experience working with Adults with complex needs
  • NVQ level 3 or 5 or studying towards this
  • Domiciliary home management experience
  • A passion for providing care and support
  • Professional approach
  • Great leadership skills
