Job Title: Embedded Electronics EngineerLocation: DorsetSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)
Are you an experienced Embedded Electronics Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the lighting manufacturing industry? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in embedded programming and RF technologies, we want to hear from you!
Must Have:
- Develop and implement embedded software in C/C++
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with bare-metal programming/NORTOS environments
- Utilize pointers, structures, and unions effectively in C
- Develop and troubleshoot I2C and SPI communication protocols
- Manage hardware interrupts and clocks
- Work with the latest Ti chipsets, specifically CC1310/CC1315 system architecture
- Utilize SmartRF Studio for RF development
- Implement OTA programming solutions
- Develop and optimize RF applications in the Ti ecosystem
- Work with Code Composer Studio (CCS) and firmware flashing
- Implement Bluetooth or BLE functionality
- Interface with and control external sensors, as well as read and control analogue and digital inputs
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Dialog BLE modules
- Knowledge of Microwave sensors
- Proficiency in C#
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Experience working with Raspberry Pi (RPi)
Additional Awareness of:
- MQTT protocols
- IoT technologies
