Description
- Manage complex employee relation issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with UK employment law
- Conduct thorough investigations and provide expert guidance to resolve workplace conflicts
- Act as a trusted advisor to management on all HR-related matters
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices
- Lead HR projects and support wellbeing campaigns
- Provide training to managers on employment law and facilitate learning and development initiatives
- Identify and assess training needs, create and maintain training matrices, develop relevant programs, and manage a comprehensive training library
- Support workforce planning, including succession planning and talent acquisition strategies
- Design, lead, and execute recruitment campaigns, including employer branding and job fair attendance
- Oversee and enhance employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition
- Manage employee relocations effectively
- Drive continuous learning and professional development initiatives across the organization
- Take initiative and employ creative problem-solving to enhance HR processes
- Assist in implementing organizational changes, including restructures
- Track and analyse key HR metrics to identify trends and recommend interventions
Profile
A successful HRBP should have:
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification
- Proven experience as an HRBP, HR Generalist, or similar role, with a significant focus on employee relations and learning & development
- Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday HRIS
- Experience in training delivery and Learning & Development program management
- Ability to communicate at all levels with excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and influence
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR practices with business goals
- Skilled in handling disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability, time management, and resilience under pressure
Job Offer
- Salary range of approximately £40,500 to £49,500
- Monday 07:30- 16.00, Tuesday - Thursday 07:30 - 15:30, Friday 07:30 - 14:30
