Production Process Operator

Location: Rochester

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts

Our client are a forward-thinking company operating a highly automated production site that runs 350 days a year. Their focus is on ensuring efficiency with 24-hour production for 330 of those days. They are currently expanding and looking to bring on a new Production Operative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain production machinery with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth running of the production site and adhere to maintenance cycles (every 30 days).
  • Monitor the automated processes, and if required, perform light manual tasks
  • Observe and maintain quality standards.
  • Participate in comprehensive training, including forklift operation.

Education/Experience:

  • A-Level in Chemistry or experience in the oil and gas industry or plastics industry
  • Master's Degree in Chemistry (Desirable)
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Previous experience in a production environment (particularly in oil, gas, or plastics) would be advantageous.
