Production Technical Assistant

Location: Rochester

Salary: £30 000 - £40 000 PA, DOE

Monday -Friday: 08:00 - 17:00

Connect Personnel are working on behalf of a renowned for their specialist brand of chocolate they produce. In 2016, they opened their first production unit and warehouse, just down the road from the cafe, enabling us to finally offer our handmade chocolate treats to more than just a handful of customers! Since then, they have seen their chocolate brand grow from strength to strength, evolving into the luxury chocolate gifting and hot chocolate experts we are today.

About the job

  • Implementing and maintaining food management systems (HACCP, GMP)
  • Conducting inspections and audits across the factory
  • Overseeing supplier approvals and investigating non-compliance issues
  • Supporting product testing across the business
  • Collaborating with New Product Development on exciting new treats
  • Managing food safety documentation and compliance processes

They are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and determined to uphold food safety. Experience in a FMCG environment would be hugely beneficial. Will require BRCGS knowledge & experience
