We are partnering with an ambitious, rapidly expanding business to recruit a talented Transactional Finance Supervisor. This role offers the chance to lead a dedicated team, implement process improvements, and contribute to the business's financial operations.

The Opportunity
This is a permanent, full-time role that blends leadership with hands-on involvement in transactional finance processes. After a successful probation period, youll benefit from hybrid working, though this role requires a strong in-office presence to mentor and support your team.

As a key figure in the finance department, you'll oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and credit control. You'll also have the opportunity to drive efficiency and build robust financial controls, making a meaningful impact within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the transactional finance team, including recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency across the department.
  • Implement and maintain a strong credit control framework, reducing outstanding debts effectively.
  • Provide regular reporting on financial performance and outstanding balances to senior management.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role, particularly within transactional finance.
  • A strong people manager with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
  • Hands-on expertise in AP, AR, and credit control processes.
  • Advanced skills in financial systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ideally AAT qualified or qualified by experience, though this is not essential.
