- Proven experience in a similar HSE role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Certificate, IOSH, or equivalent in Health & Safety Management
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and accident investigations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health and safety reporting tools
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
- Conducting regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions
- Investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and reporting findings
- Developing and delivering HSE training programs for staff
- Collaborating with management to implement health and safety initiatives
- Maintaining HSE records and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Promoting a positive safety culture across the organization
