Snapdragons Children's Centre, part of Medway Community Healthcare NHS, is looking for a skilled Community Paediatrician to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive medical assessments, diagnostics, and management for children with developmental, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Work closely with families, schools, and social services to ensure integrated, holistic care for vulnerable children.
  • Lead and participate in clinics, including those for children with complex needs, coordinating multi-disciplinary care plans.
  • Act as a key advocate for children's health, supporting early intervention, prevention, and health promotion within the community.
  • Collaborate with a broad range of healthcare professionals, including therapists, nurses, and mental health specialists, to deliver child-centred care.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Paediatrician with full GMC registration and licence to practise.
  • Significant experience in community paediatrics, developmental paediatrics, or similar specialisations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering family-centred care.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in line with NHS standards.
