Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive medical assessments, diagnostics, and management for children with developmental, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Work closely with families, schools, and social services to ensure integrated, holistic care for vulnerable children.
- Lead and participate in clinics, including those for children with complex needs, coordinating multi-disciplinary care plans.
- Act as a key advocate for children's health, supporting early intervention, prevention, and health promotion within the community.
- Collaborate with a broad range of healthcare professionals, including therapists, nurses, and mental health specialists, to deliver child-centred care.
Requirements:
- Qualified Paediatrician with full GMC registration and licence to practise.
- Significant experience in community paediatrics, developmental paediatrics, or similar specialisations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering family-centred care.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in line with NHS standards.
