Fast Moving & Growing Car Vehicle retailer in a Prime location is expanding its HR Team to help grow the Vehicle Service, Bodyshop, and associated Sales & Admin staff. This is a super time to join this business and be instrumental in its growth - and hopefully, grow your career with them!

Great office hours and working days are Monday to Friday. In return, you will receive a starting salary of upto £25,000 (Dependant on Experience) and report to the HR Manager who is also based at the Site. Ideally, you will have had some involvement with Staff and HR Admin within a workplace- however this is not essential.

You will be responsible for the following functions:-

Recruitment

  • Place and monitor new vacancy adverts on the internet
  • Control the Applicant Tracker
  • Conduct initial telephone screening with suitable applicants - lots of telephone usage
  • Forward suitably screened applicants to the Managers for an interview
  • Send out Offers of Employment / Contracts of Employment and all new starter paperwork
  • Control, log and file all new starter paperwork and Dashboard entries

Managing Attendance

  • Track Sickness and absence/Lateness and highlight staff who have hit trigger points for action
  • Generate Attendance Cards
  • Issue Invites for Disciplinary Hearings for Poor Attendance / Timekeeping
  • Note take at Disciplinary Hearings and produce Disciplinary paperwork.

Managing Performance

  • Track and control Probation Review Log / Performance Improvement Plan Log
  • Co-ordinate, log and file all Probation Review / Performance Improvement Plan paperwork
  • Note taken at Investigation Meetings for instances of misconduct

Exit Interviews

  • Ensure that you conduct as many Exit Interviews as possible
  • Log any Exit Interviews and Reasons for Leaving

Monthly Branch Visit

  • Review with HR Business Partner - this will cover a review of recruitment/performance management/staff feedback
  • Assist/Conduct a Listening Group

Monthly Team Meeting with HR Director

  • Review of new starters and leavers and the site
  • Review of HR general performance
  • New initiatives
