Our client, a well-established multi-office law firm in Dorset, is seeking a skilled Residential Property Locum Solicitor to provide temporary support, either with ad hoc holiday covers or on an ongoing long term locum basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified property law professional to join a dedicated team and contribute to delivering comprehensive legal services to clients.
Position OverviewAs a Residential Property Locum Solicitor, you will handle a diverse caseload of residential property matters, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for clients. You will work closely with the experienced property law team, benefiting from their local knowledge and commitment to client satisfaction.
This may either be on an ongoing basis covering various offices to assist with recruitment gap cover and busy caseloads, or it could be to cover ad hoc holiday weeks throughout this year and moving forwards.
Responsibilities-
Handle residential property cases from start to finish

Assist with selling, buying, and remortgaging properties

Support first-time buyers and manage investment properties

Provide guidance on equity release and lifetime mortgages

Collaborate with the dedicated support team

Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or equivalent

Minimum 4 years' PQE in property law and conveyancing

Strong communication and case management skills

Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently

Familiarity with the local area is advantageous

Competitive hourly rate of £40 - £50
