The Role – Night Shift Production ManagerAs a Night Shift Production Manager, you will take full ownership of the night shift production process, ensuring all targets are met while maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating night shift production activities to ensure smooth operations
- Managing and allocating resources effectively to meet production schedules
- Identifying and resolving machinery and product issues to minimise downtime
- Driving Right First Time (RFT), continuous improvement, and waste reduction initiatives
- Implementing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Training, developing, and motivating production staff to optimise performance
- Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and compliant working environment in line with BRCGS and company policies
- Monitoring productivity, quality control, and performance KPIs
What We’re Looking For in a Night Shift Production ManagerTo succeed in this role, you should have:
- At least three years’ experience as a Production Manager in food manufacturing or a related industry
- A strong mechanical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot production issues
- Experience working within BRCGS or similar food safety standards
- Proven leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing teams
- A proactive, hands-on approach to improving efficiency and driving performance
