Senior Simulation Engineer
Location: Gillingham, UK
Job Purpose:
As a Senior Simulation Engineer, you'll work within the Simulation Department. You'll use advanced simulation techniques, collaborate closely with design and development teams, and drive improvements in product performance.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform simulations (tribology, structural analysis) to support design, validation, and manufacturing of fuel injection components.
  • Propose design and testing recommendations based on simulation results.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to enhance simulation accuracy.
  • Report and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to developing new analysis techniques to boost product performance.


Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with commercial simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, AMESIM, GT Suite).
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic component design, tribology, fluid dynamics, and metal fatigue.
  • Experience with fluid-structural interaction simulations and elasto-hydrodynamic analysis is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • 5+ years in a similar role with a relevant engineering degree.
