Supply Desk are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Specialist Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated "Good" large primary school based in Medway. The school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to start immediately on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year. About the Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum to prepare students for end-of-year assessments.
- Collaborate with a supportive team, sharing planning responsibilities and attending regular meetings.
- Provide targeted support to ensure pupils achieve their individual learning goals.
- Foster a positive classroom environment, ensuring all students feel valued and motivated.
- Be an integral part of a hardworking and passionate school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 6.
- Be passionate about supporting students to reach their full potential, particularly in preparation for SATs.
- Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Possess a valid Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one).
