GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a creative and ambitious secondary school in Medway. As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture the artistic talents of students, helping them to develop their skills and express themselves creatively.

The school provides students with a well-rounded education that goes beyond academics, focusing on personal growth and the development of individual talents. As an Art Teacher, you will be part of a supportive team that encourages innovation and creativity in teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons that inspire creativity and artistic expression.
  • Support students in developing their artistic skills and understanding of art concepts.
  • Encourage students to explore different art mediums and techniques.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide their artistic development.
  • Contribute to the school’s art department by participating in exhibitions, events, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level.
  • A strong passion for art and creativity.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
