Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will supervise classes during the absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning atmosphere and supporting the educational needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Ensure that students follow school policies and procedures.
- Provide support to students in their learning and behaviour.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
- Communicate effectively with teaching staff and parents as needed.
- Contribute to the overall ethos and values of the school.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young people in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- A passion for education and supporting student development.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
