Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative lessons that adhere to the curriculum and cater to a diverse range of learning needs.
- Foster a stimulating classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and respectful discussions on various religious and ethical topics.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching materials and participate in departmental meetings to enhance the curriculum.
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the vibrant community life of the academy.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Religious Education.
- Proven experience in teaching Religious Education at the secondary level.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues.
