Behaviour Mentor

Our school is committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We are currently looking for a Behaviour Mentor to support our students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and care.

Day to day of the role:
  • Develop and implement individualised behaviour management strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students, focusing on social and emotional skill development.
  • Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, offering regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive student support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • A strong grasp of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork capabilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields are desirable.
