Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

Location - Rochester

Daily Rate - £90 - £100 depending on experience

Start - ASAP - full time ongoing

Tradewind Recruitment are actively looking for a 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a student with SEMH within a mainstream secondary school in Rochester - the role is to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis for as long as the support is required. The daily rate is between £90 and £100 a day depending on experience.

The role of an SEN Teaching Assistant

Provide 1-1 support to a student with SEMH needs ensuring their individual needs are met
Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans, adapting activities and resources as necessary
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a positive outcome for the student

Requirements:

Experience of working with young people with additional needs or have a background in the care sector
Strong communication skills
Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
