CCTV OPERATOR

Our client based in Medway operate a monitoring and response service and are looking for experienced CCTV Operators.

Working as part of a team in the Partnership & Commercial Division, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to all partners and service users.

As a Control Room Operator key responsibilities include monitoring and managing incidents from start to finish; be the eyes and ears and make sure that there is a co-ordinated approach. Successful applicants will be reporting into the control centre shift manager. The location of work will be based within the local Medway towns and is accessible via public transport.

The role is varied and busy with no two days the same. You must be able to think quick on your feet and always ensure the best outcome for service users. You will be required to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, providing excellent customer services in a calm and supportive manner.

Previous experience within a monitoring-controlled unit is essential, along with holding a valid SIA Licence with CCTV.

You must have good ICT skills, and a passion for supporting vulnerable people. It would be advantageous if you have knowledge and understanding of assistive technology and Telecare.

Shift patterns vary from days to nights working 12-hour shifts. As this will start as a temporary placement we can offer preferred shifts, but this will depend on the client's rota.
