You will be working as part of a team to ensure that trains are cleaned to industry standards and therefore can be sent out onto the railway, help keeping the country's rail network moving with public safety uncompromised. Client Summary: Southeastern Railway operate many train routes across the UK and have one of the largest fleet of trains in the UK. They have extended contracts in the past for good employees. Qualifications & Experience: Experience in a vehicle cleaning role or similar is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. The candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to work hard and handle a physically demanding role.Candidate background: Ideal applicants would have had some cleaning or heavy industry experience. Due to the location of the work, candidates must have their own transport or live within commutable or walking distance of Gillingham Train Maintenance Depot.Job Description* Complete cleaning with various chemicals and cleaning liquids.* Complete Bio-Cleans.* Work within a safety critical environment. * Radio communication / point of contact for team leaders.* Train staff to complete service / heavy cleans to highest possible standard.* Manual handling.* Health and safety.* Chemical handling (COSHH regulations).
