Brightwork's specialist client is currently recruiting a Junior Engineer who will, with guidance from the Project Engineering Leader & Senior Process Engineer liaise with the Operations team when scoping new projects.

Responsibilities

Produce engineering deliverables and provide engineering support to capital projects

Support Project Engineers in the commissioning phase of major projects

With support from the engineering team, manage a process improvement project from start (development of scope and design) to finish (handover to operations)

With support from the engineering team promote a positive safety culture & ensure site works comply with all appropriate Safety Health & Environmental requirements.

Qualifications

Essential

Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar

A Level/ Baccalaureate /Scottish Highers - including Math's; Chemistry; Biology

Skills

Excellent IT Skills (intermediate to advanced in Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

Able to adapt to different ERP Systems including inhouse systems. Previous experience of using Microsoft Projects or similar.

Full Driving Licence

There will be a requirement to travel with this role.
