Due to an enhanced period of growth, Meraki Talent are seeking an experienced Accountant for a newly created position within the heart of Glasgow’s City Centre.The successful individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial reporting and accounting operations. This role is perfect for a Part or Newly Qualified Accountant looking for their first steps out of practice.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results
  • Oversee the maintenance of financial records, daily NAV reporting and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented individual who can ensure accurate client reports reconciliations
  • Present financial reports to management and external stakeholders
  • Develop and Lead implement processes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and accounting operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial analysis and insights
    Qualifications:
  • Part or Newly Qualified Accountants (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA or Equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
