Assistant Management Accountant

Your new companyBased in East Dunbartonshire, our client is recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis for a duration of 6 months. The role is a 40-hour working week, with standard hours being 08:30am-5pm Monday to Friday. A hybrid working arrangement is available, however only once training and onboarding has been completed. In addition, start and finish times can be flexible. Your new roleThis role will be involved in the new system implementation of Netsuite. As part of this process, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team through the transition. Your responsibilities will include assisting with month-end duties, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial processes, posting journals, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and processing BACS payments. Additionally, you will provide support during internal and external audits by supplying necessary documentation and information. What you'll need to succeedThe successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and must have strong attention to detail. Our client is looking for a versatile and adaptable candidate who can support the wider finance team in various areas. Experience in month-end accounting is necessary and Netsuite system experience would be advantageous.
