Our Client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Glasgow.

Hybrid Glasgow

Contract - Circa 4 Months

Candidates must be uk resident and able to be cleared a BPSS level

Reporting to the UK Senior Statutory Financial Accountant, the role will be until the end of June 2025 and will include responsibility for the filing of UK Statutory Financial Statements for a number of group companies and will include liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Post qualified ICAS/ACCA 2-3 years but would consider part- qualified applicants with extensive experience on the below
  • Reporting into the Senior Statutory Financial Accountant, you will be able to extract and compile financial information from various sources to prepare comprehensive year-end UK based financial statements
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Knowledge of Oracle accounting software preferable
  • Ensure all financial statements are accurate and comply with the relevant accounting standards
  • Organise and manage the year end audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all requests
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information
  • Preparation of annual statutory journals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in work produced
