Robert Half are delighted to partner with one of Scotland's leading real estate businesses operating across the whole of the UK with their search for a divisional financial controller in Glasgow.

As a result of significant growth and funding the business are looking for an experienced financial controller to lead one of their finance teams in Glasgow.

As divisional financial controller you will lead the division, oversee financial reporting and manage the financial operations of the division. You will also be supporting the Group FC and Group FD on strategic initiatives.

Role Responsibilities

  • Establishing a group reporting framework including real time KPI reporting, monthly and quarterly Board reporting.
  • Monthly Joint Venture financial reporting including variance reporting and progress against KPIs.
  • Covenant compliance and oversight of outsourcing Property Management reporting and related Sage input.
  • Oversight of CIS administration, VAT administration and ongoing compliance
  • Assist with modelling for potential acquisition targets
  • Oversight of suppliers and subcontractors and ongoing monitoring
  • Cash monitoring and control
  • Project management of transaction advisors
  • Oversight of preparation of draft Accounts and compilation of supporting documentation
  • Act as main point of contact for divisional and JV entities
  • Support in improvement of process and the evolution of internal modelling/analysis templates
  • Support with the evolution of integrated accounting system (Evision/Housebuilding by Eque2)
  • Compilation and maintenance of Financial Procedures and Controls Manager and input into the wider Group Procedures Manual as required.

Skills and Experience

  • CA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Experienced in preparing month end management accounts
  • Experienced in year end statutory reporting
  • Ability to take strategic and commercial view
