Meraki Talent’s client is seeking a Financial Controller for a newly created role within an ambitious firm.
The successful candidate will oversee financial management aspects, ensuring compliance with standards and preparing financial reports.
Candidates must be ICAS, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
The position offers a salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, along with a performance-related bonus and flexible benefits.
The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing a team.

Meraki Talent’s market leading client are looking to add a Financial Controller to the current team. This is a newly created role with an ambitious firm and the successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team.Key duties of the role include:

Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Manage financial audits and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
Support business growth initiatives, including M&A, investment strategies, and financial modelling.
Management and development of team of transactional staff.

Experience required:

ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified with 3 years PQE
Ability to work to challenging deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment.
Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
