Meraki Talent’s market leading client are looking to add a Financial Controller to the current team. This is a newly created role with an ambitious firm and the successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team.Key duties of the role include:
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Manage financial audits and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Support business growth initiatives, including M&A, investment strategies, and financial modelling.
  • Management and development of team of transactional staff.
Experience required:
  • ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified with 3 years PQE
  • Ability to work to challenging deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
