Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly consolidation process for 17 statutory entities and compile month-end reporting packs.
  • Support year-end audits and prepare statutory accounts.
  • Analyse Group overhead expenditure, monitor budgets, and report to the Executive team.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, intercompany transactions, and VAT submissions.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and process supplier payments.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects to support business development and improvement.

Profile

A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:

  • Professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
