As a management accountant at SGN you will have responsibility for a number of specific management accounting activities completed in line with an agreed schedule. This could include periodic journals to capture accruals, pre-payments and other accounting adjustments required.

I help to keep people safe and warm by…

  • Managing two sets of rigorous audits, which include providing information to support expenditure and cash payments.
  • Providing monthly cost templates to the Project Manager.
  • Updating the repayment model to report project margins and identify risks.
  • Preparing monthly accruals and journals to ensure the accuracy of month-end accounts.

What you’ll need

  • Strong Excel and computing skills, with the ability to analyse large volumes of data.
  • Good communication skills and comfortable being challenged by stakeholders with the ability to justify costs.
  • 4+ years previous financial experience
  • Involved in year end
