Your new companyThis fast growing Scottish business are looking for a management accountant to join their busy finance team as part of planned expansion. The role offers hybrid working with 2/3 days in office based in Glasgow City Centre. The organisation can offer flexible working with a varied starting & finishing time over a 37.5 hour working week.Your new role
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your duties will include;
- Finance business partnering for one of the businesses regions
- Preparation of accurate and timely monthly consolidated management accounts
- Preparation of monthly treasury journals
- Monthly review of purchase ledger
- Ongoing periodic reporting to senior stakeholders
- Supporting with ad-hoc finance projects
What you'll need to succeedThe successful individual will be a qualified accountant or exam finalist studying ACCA/ CA / CIMA. You will possess a high degree of technical accounting and analytical skills along with strong communication skills. You will have the ability to work in a team or on your own effectively. Excellent IT skills, specifically within Excel and Sage is essential.What you'll get in return
