Description
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead a team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Develop strategies that work to minimise financial risk.
- Analyse market trends to maximise business opportunities and generate revenue.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Professional accounting certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of approximately £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.

This role will be 4 days a week in the office so candidates must be able to attend the office in Glasgow - no remote working available
