Meraki Talent is currently partnering with a known Scottish CA firm, on a strategic hire at Partner level.

The firm:

Our client has a rich history and legacy within the Scottish market and a reputation for delivering exceptional results and managing a bustling portfolio of clients synonymous with the Scottish market.

The business has recently signed off on an ambitious five-year growth plan and are looking for a new partner to help them achieve these.

The Role:

The position will focus primarily on business services, financial reporting, and high-level business advisory. The expectation is that the relevant individual will hold a Practicing Certificate or be willing to obtain in the near future.

The position is open to those operating at a senior level at present, either Director in a large set up, or already operating at Partner grade in the mid-tier space. The business will assist with all relevant institution memberships, and certificate requirements for signing rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse team assist them with the management of a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive business services advice and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial management strategies that drive client success.
  • Offer high-level business advisory services, guiding clients in achieving their strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to execute their five-year growth plan and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Experience:

  • ICAS/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in business services and financial reporting, or Audit with a strong background in high-level advisory.
  • Proven history of managing client relationships and driving client success.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire a team and promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for growth and innovation.
