Meraki Accountancy & Finance’s market-leading client is keen to add a Senior Client Accountant to the current team on a permanent role in the Isle of Man.This excellent opportunity will involve working primarily for the leading and developing finance function provision in a timely and accurate financial information. This role is ideal for an individual who can bring new ideas and help lead and deliver to senior management and our wider business ambitions. Key duties of the role include:
  • Support and drive the delivery, utilisation and efficiency of financial processes and resources.
  • Preparation and review of complex financial statements for a portfolio of companies and Trusts under tight reporting deadlines.
  • Responsible for reviewing the accuracy of the trial balance and journal preparation including accruals and prepayments.
  • Preparation of adhoc financial analysis to allow the management team to make well-informed and strategic decisions.
  • Year-end reporting requirements and external audit processes assistance when necessary.
  • Provide support and assistance when required to junior colleagues.
 Qualifications:
  • ICAS /ICAEW/ ACCA /CIMA or Equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deal with a variety of financial reporting and finance system-related queries.
  • Experience in the Fiduciary Industry is desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
