Anderson Knight are delighted to be partnering with one of our valued client for a key appointment of a Finance Business Partner.

Our client is highly respected and recognised across the UK, operating within a strictly regulated and innovative industry. The Tax Accountant will work alongside a small specialist team, reporting directly to the Head of Tax.

The key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to provide strategic guidance on tax planning and compliance matters.
  • Assist in managing audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise tax strategies and identify opportunities for tax savings.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Adhoc tasks and processes where appropriate.

The main candidate will either by CTA or ACCA/CIMA qualified.

To succeed in this role you will need excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and if not already possessed, will be expected to develop an understanding of the renewable sector.
