Description
The successful Assistant Project Accountant will have the following responsibilities but not limited too:
- Supporting project accounting activities and maintaining project accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulations
- Collaborating with project teams to develop budgets and financial plans
- Analysing financial data and preparing financial forecasts
- Maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets
- Participating in financial audits and implementing audit recommendations
Profile
The successful Assistant Project Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
