- Draft, schedule, and publish social media posts to engage community audiences
- Create and distribute newsletters and email reminders for events
- Respond to community queries via email and social media platforms
- Assist in organising community events, including venue booking, catering, and coordinating event logistics
- Manage online event registrations (via Microsoft Forms) and maintain participant attendance and engagement logs in community science projects
- Prepare and distribute event materials
- Scheduling meetings and sending invitations
- Preparing and distributing agendas and relevant documents
- Taking minutes and circulating them after meetings
- Logging and following up on action points
- Liaise with central administration on procurement tasks
- Process and track participant payments
- Maintain project databases, updating participant and event information

- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a community-focused or research project setting
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in event logistics and coordination within a community or research setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and Forms) and familiarity with financial/procurement systems (e.g., Agresso)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in note-taking and meeting coordination
- Confidence in liaising with diverse stakeholders, including community members, staff, and external suppliers
- Basic design skills for newsletters or social media content creation (e.g., Canva or similar tools)
