General Administrator – Kinning Park

Salary - £25000 - £28000

Are you an experienced Administrator / Order Processor with excellent Customer Service skills? We are recruiting for a Business Administrator to join our successful team on the outskirts of Glasgow City Centre.

We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who has the drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment, where accuracy and attention to detail are key. We require the candidate to have previous experience and they must have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Job duties:

• Answer phone calls and emails professionally and in a timely manner

• Provide a pro-active approach to customer service

• Provide administrative support to our sales team to maximising their productivity

• Learning our order process system

• Create quotations

• Process orders accurately and in a timely manner

• Manage customer expectations throughout the order process, making them aware of any extended lead times

• Work with customers to progress orders, arranging payments and sending order confirmations

• Check the progress of orders with suppliers and our inhouse production to ensure customers are aware of any delays immediately

• Client record housekeeping

Skills and experience required:

• Good organisation skills

• Computer literate with good Excel and Outlook skills

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Professional telephone manner to deal with clients and suppliers

We are keen to hear from applicants with previous administration or customer services experience, and a natural ability to build good rapport with customers/suppliers. A willingness to learn/develop and high levels of attention to detail are critical for this role.
